Cedar River Watershed Management Plan 2010
The Cedar River Watershed Management Plan was created in 2001 by the Gladwin Conservation District in response to an identified need for a comprehensive plan to maintain and try to restore the integrity of the Cedar River Watershed. In 2009, The Little Forks Conservancy received a grant from the State of Michigan Department of Environmental Quality to update the existing watershed plan to current federal standards. The Little Forks Conservancy, working with the University of Michigan-Flints’ University Outreach, have completed a draft update of the Cedar River Watershed Management Plan. Many individuals, stakeholders and community groups have contributed to the update of the watershed management plan.
The Cedar River Watershed Management Plan was approved by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality in August 2011. For more information about the watershed management plan, contact our office.
