The resources of the Tittabawassee River Watershed are immensely rich and diverse. Forests, farm fields, marshland and, of course, rivers all provide benefits to our community. To ensure that our community always receives these benefits, The Little Forks Conservancy works to:

• Protect waterways in order to reduce erosion, preserve scenic views and preserve and improve water quality.
• Protect and preserve unique natural features of the land.
• Preserve areas that provide wildlife habitat.

The Little Forks Conservancy protects land through a variety of methods, including conservation easements, land donation, bargain sale of land and purchase of land. Working with private landowners, the Conservancy’s staff determines the
best tool for conservation.
