Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy, 39 acres

The Little Forks Conservancy was asked to hold a conservation easement on one of our neighboring conservancy’s properties as a grant funding condition. The Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy had purchased a 39-acre property along 2,165 feet of the Pinconning River from Pinconning Township. The property contains a mix of coastal marsh, emergent wetland and hardwood forest, which provides habitat for unique wetland plants and a variety of wildlife. Through this cooperative project, The Little Forks Conservancy and The Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy can ensure that the land remains in its natural, undeveloped condition.
