Steve, an attorney, retired from The Dow Chemical Company. He has a strong interest in environmental, conservation and outdoor recreation issues. His love of nature keeps him active in developing, constructing and maintaining hiking/biking trails. He has served as a Chippewa Nature Center volunteer on the Chippewa Trail, as a volunteer coordinator for the Roscommon County portion of the Midland to Mackinaw Trail and as a volunteer member of several trail crews on the Colorado Trail. Steve believes strongly in the Conservancy’s methods and efforts to protect the river corridors and watersheds in mid-Michigan.
