Wendy moved to Midland in the late 1980s to begin her work as the Director of the Midland Volunteers for Recycling. In 1989, she accepted a position with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Wendy began teaching full-time at Delta College in 1999 and is currently an Assistant Professor of Biology in the Science Division. She holds a B.A. from Gorden College in Massachusetts and a M.A. from Western Michigan University.
