Walk in the Woods-A Michigan Forest Association Forestry Program

Join representatives of the Michigan Forest Association (MFA)—and partners from Michigan State University Extension, Little Forks Conservancy and Clare County Conservation District—as we explore MFA’s 40 acres west of Harrison, MI. We will explore the current conditions of this forest, what it means to have a management plan, and options for managing it for future forest health, enjoyment, and potential income.

These discussions will give other landowners tips and strategies for managing your own land for your own personal goals. A sub sandwich and refreshments will be provided for a nominal fee of $10 (optional).

Date: July 19, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Corner of Old State Road & Larch Road, Greenwood Township, Clare County, MI
Cost: Free with optional $10 Dinner Fee

Register on Eventbrite Here by July 17th

Please park along Larch Road on the north side of the property. There is a short walk down a drive to the meeting site/tent. Some mildly rugged walking will be involved, so please wear closed-toe shoes, insect repellent and sunscreen.
