The 106-acre preserve Nelson Woods was acquired by the Little Forks Conservancy in 2023. This preserve is largely forested, characterized by maple, oak, and beech, with groves of hemlock and pine also present. The preserve boasts approximately 1900 ft. of shoreline frontage along the Tittabawasee River.
