Little Forks Conservancy offers a variety of programs that the community can participate it in or learn more about the local environment.
Stream monitoring done bi-annually through the collection of macroinvertebrates and using a scientifically backed equation to determine the general health of six site across the Cedar River Watershed.
Conservation@Home is a way for anyone to help the environment by changing the perspective of the perfect green lawns to functional space for you and nature.
Work with LFC staff to learn about these practices and certify your home. This program allows Little Forks Conservancy to continue the mission of providing accessible outdoor recreation to ALL members of our community without discrimination or prejudice.

Stewardship Series is done either digitally or in-person to provide practical information about stewardship of the lands around us. The skills covered can be implemented on your own land or while helping out LFC staff at a natural area.
LFC staff work with schools to provide lessons on environmental education, climate change, non-profit engagement, and promoting overall wellness by connecting to nature. Field trips to natural areas and service projects are common practice with this program.
We host a variety of hikes and fun events to engage the community. Head over to our events page to see what is planned.
